Human Resource Assistant – Casper, Wyoming
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support for headquarters Human Resources functions including: maintaining employee information by entering, updating, and filing employment and status change data, reviewing records for missing policies, documents, and/or corrections; following up to request such materials, reviewing and auditing employee records, authenticating all I-9 paperwork to ensure it has been submitted correctly and verifying authorization to work in the United States as well as maintaining I-9 documents for compliance. Position is also responsible for logging applicants and forwarding to hiring managers as assigned, completing verbal and written employment verifications, and performing extensive computer work as follows: data entry on mainframe employee database, preparing letters, reports and miscellaneous documents, downloading reports from mainframe employee database and using information to compile other reports. This position assists Human Resources Supervisor in creating and placing advertisements including distribution and filing of interoffice memorandum, assembles new employee packets according to companies, and maintains confidentiality of sensitive human resource information at all times. Minimum requirements include English language fluency, 2-3 years’ experience in an office support function, ability to handle information of a highly confidential nature, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and good data entry skills with the ability to produce accurate work within regular deadlines. Position requires pre-employment background check and drug screen.
