Security Network Director – Casper, Wyoming

This is a full-time position that is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the company within the Information Technology department. Developing internal IT security business relationships and ensuring the Information Security team meets business requirements. Responsible for the development and execution of the security needs, requirements and ongoing operations. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Configures virus and spam filters, firewalls, various servers and other devices. Shares on-call responsibilities with other technicians to provide 24-hour coverage. Investigates problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; tests and implements solutions. Performs and/or oversees security hardware, software and application installation and upgrades. Maintains security site licenses for department/organization. Develops and conducts various training and instruction for system users on operating systems and security awareness. Assists users in maximizing use of networks and computing systems. This position generally requires up to 75% travel, 25% overnight during the course of the business day. Other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications: Degree in related field and three (3) to five (5) years of networking experience, or equivalent applicable work experience. Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical personnel. Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to switch tasks rapidly to respond to business needs Must pass pre-employment background check, credit check and drug screen.
