Tax Accountant II – Casper, WY
This is a full time position that is responsible for examining, analyzing, researching and interpreting accounting and financial records for the purpose of preparing timely and accurate federal, state, local and franchise and income tax returns. This position is also responsible for coordinating with the treasury department, chief accountants and other individuals to secure financial information necessary to prepare federal, state, local and franchise and income tax returns for the various True companies and individuals. This position will utilize professional tax software (ProSystems) to prepare state, federal and local tax returns that include individuals, corporations, Sub-S corporations, partnerships, tax partnerships, limited liability companies, trusts, private foundations, tax-exempt organizations and qualified employee benefit plans; utilize tax software to E-file company tax returns in compliance with Internal Revenue mandates; preparing quarterly tax estimates for corporations, Sub-S corporations, foundations, trusts and individuals; prepare year-end journal entries of tax accruals and book/tax differences; and other duties as assigned. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or higher with two to four (2-4) years of experience or equivalent; CPA or CPA candidate; excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel; and English language fluency, verbal and written. Must pass pre-employment background check, credit check and drug/alcohol test.
